Care
• Vacuum regularly on low suction, without a beater bar or rotating brush.
• Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub.
• For deeper cleaning, we recommend professional rug cleaning only.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to minimise fading.
• Keep away from excessive moisture and damp areas.
• Rotate the rug periodically to ensure even wear.
• Some shedding is natural with handmade rugs and will reduce over time.
• Do not pull loose fibres; carefully trim them with scissors if required.
Verdigris takes its cue from copper left out in the weather — that particular blue-green that arrives slowly and unevenly, never quite the same twice.
The ground is a pale, mottled sky blue, streaked lighter and darker across the width, and it carries a lattice of deep green quatrefoils outlined in cream.
Marigold flourishes sit at the joins, small enough to read as warmth rather than contrast, with sprigs of leaf caught inside slim drawn frames.
Hand tufted in 100% wool at a low loop pile, the surface is dense and quiet underfoot, and the outlined motifs stand very slightly proud of the ground.
The washed effect in the field comes from the wool itself rather than a print, so it shifts as the light moves across the room through the day.
It suits rooms that are already fairly plain — pale walls, cane or rattan, unfinished wood — where the blue can do the work without competing.
Made in India, hand tufted and hand finished, one piece at a time.
