Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of trueknot.in (the "Site") and any purchase you make on it. By browsing the Site or placing an order, you agree to them.

The Site is operated by True Knot Private Limited ("True Knot", "we", "us"), a company incorporated in India.

Our products
Our carpets are made by hand: hand-knotted, hand-tufted or handloomed, as stated on each product page. Because each piece is handmade, small variations in size, colour, texture and pattern are natural and are not defects. We take care to show colours accurately, but colours can look different depending on your screen.
Prices and payment
All prices are in Indian Rupees and are inclusive of all taxes. Delivery within India is free. The total you pay, with its breakup, is shown at checkout before you pay. If a price is shown in error, we will tell you before accepting your order. Payment is made through the methods offered at checkout.
Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm your order by email or message. If we cannot fulfil an order after you have paid, we will tell you and refund everything you have paid.
Custom and bespoke orders
Made-to-order pieces are made to your specifications and need an advance deposit of 50% before production begins. They cannot be returned for a change of mind but are covered for faults in how they were made. If you cancel after production has begun, we deduct only the actual costs already incurred, as set out in our Cancellation Policy.
Delivery, returns, cancellations and warranty
Delivery is covered by our Shipping Policy, returns by our Return & Replacement Policy, cancellations by our Cancellation Policy, and faults in how a carpet was made by our Warranty. These policies form part of these terms.
Intellectual property
All content on the Site, including designs, patterns, images, text, logos and the True Knot name, belongs to or is licensed to True Knot. You may not copy or use it without our written permission.
Use of the Site
Please use the Site lawfully. Do not try to gain unauthorised access to it or interfere with how it works. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us, including your delivery address.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, True Knot is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or our products, and our total liability for any order will not exceed the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have, or any liability we have, under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other law that cannot be limited by contract.
Grievance Officer
For any complaint about an order, a product or the Site, write to our Grievance Officer. We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within one month.

Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of New Delhi have jurisdiction. This does not affect your right as a consumer to approach the National Consumer Helpline (1915 or consumerhelpline.gov.in) or the Consumer Commission where you live.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on the Site when you place an order applies to that order.
