Shipping policy
Each True Knot carpet is packed with care and dispatched to reach you safely. This policy explains where we deliver, what it costs and how long it takes.
Where we deliver
We deliver across India only. We do not ship internationally at present.
Delivery charges
Delivery is free on all orders within India. There are no delivery or handling charges at checkout.
Dispatch and delivery times
- Ready and in-stock carpets: dispatched within 3 to 7 business days of order confirmation.
- Made-to-order pieces: we confirm the lead time for your piece in writing when you place the order. As a guide: hand-knotted 3 to 4 months; hand-tufted 4 to 6 weeks; handloom 4 to 6 weeks. Lead time starts once we have confirmed your order and received the advance deposit.
After dispatch, delivery usually takes 1 to 3 business days within Delhi NCR and 4 to 8 business days elsewhere in India. We share tracking details by email or phone once your order ships.
Delays
Times are estimates. Deliveries can occasionally be delayed by courier delays, remote locations, weather or other events beyond our control. If your order is affected, we will tell you.
On delivery
Please inspect your carpet when it arrives. If the packaging looks damaged or tampered with, or the piece is damaged or wrong, write to contact@trueknot.in within 48 hours of delivery with photographs, and we will put it right under our Return & Replacement Policy.
Delivery details and failed deliveries
Please make sure your address and phone number are complete and correct. If a delivery fails because the address is wrong or no one is available to receive it, re-delivery may cost extra; we will tell you the amount before arranging it.
