Tessera is a mosaic of triangles, fitted point to point into diamonds and larger facets across the whole carpet.
Most of the pieces are charcoal and slate grey, with navy and grey-green among them and a scattering of copper brown that warms the dark palette.
Hand tufted in wool, each triangle is brushed with fine horizontal lines, so the surface has the slight irregularity a machine cannot reproduce.
A deep-toned 5 x 8 ft carpet for a living room or a study, and wool means it will take being walked on.
