Terrace is a field of diamonds, each made of lines stepping inwards to a small centre, like terraced ground seen from above.
It is tonal throughout: charcoal on charcoal, with the pattern coming from the lines and a soft grey that shows at the heart of each diamond.
Hand tufted in New Zealand wool, the lines are carved into the pile, so the design shows most when light falls across it.
