Care
• Vacuum regularly on low suction, without a beater bar or rotating brush.
• Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub.
• For deeper cleaning, we recommend professional rug cleaning only.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to minimise fading.
• Keep away from excessive moisture and damp areas.
• Rotate the rug periodically to ensure even wear.
• Some shedding is natural, especially with handmade rugs, and will reduce over time.
• Do not pull loose fibres; carefully trim them with scissors if required.
Stitch is built from strips and panels of stripe, set side by side with uneven, overlapping edges like pieces of fabric laid out before sewing.
The palette is warm and earthy: rust, cinnamon and chocolate brown against stone, taupe and soft grey, with touches of muted mauve.
Rows of small pale dashes run down the plainer panels like lines of running stitch, which is where the carpet gets its name.
Hand tufted in wool, the colours are matte and rich, with crisp edges between each panel.
It brings a layered, handmade warmth to a living room or study, and pairs naturally with leather, timber and terracotta.
