Care
• Vacuum regularly on low suction, without a beater bar or rotating brush.
• Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub.
• For deeper cleaning, we recommend professional rug cleaning only.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to minimise fading.
• Keep away from excessive moisture and damp areas.
• Rotate the rug periodically to ensure even wear.
• Some shedding is natural, especially with handmade rugs, and will reduce over time.
• Do not pull loose fibres; carefully trim them with scissors if required.
Pastel is a soft, broken wash of colour: blush pink, apricot, sand and pale blue-grey, layered in small irregular patches across the whole carpet.
A few deeper slate marks are scattered through it, just enough to give the pale palette some depth.
The effect is like a weathered painted wall, or a watercolour left out in the sun, gentle and slightly faded.
Hand tufted in wool, the surface is dense and matte, which keeps the colours calm.
At this generous size it is made for a large living room or bedroom that wants warmth without strong colour.
