Care
• Vacuum regularly on low suction, without a beater bar or rotating brush.
• Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub.
• For deeper cleaning, we recommend professional rug cleaning only.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to minimise fading.
• Keep away from excessive moisture and damp areas.
• Rotate the rug periodically to ensure even wear.
• Some shedding is natural with handmade rugs and will reduce over time.
• Do not pull loose fibres; carefully trim them with scissors if required.
Mesa is an oval carpet covered in large, overlapping leaves, each one drawn with a fine carved centre vein and side veins, so the whole surface reads like a bed of foliage seen from above.
The leaves come in sage, olive and deep forest green, with soft clay pink and cream leaves scattered between them, a warm, earthy mix that feels calm rather than busy.
Hand tufted in New Zealand wool with a touch of viscose, the leaves are cut to slightly different heights and the veins are carved into the pile, giving the design a gentle relief and a soft sheen.
At 6 x 9 ft, the oval shape softens a living room seating area, sits well beside a bed, or anchors a reading corner with plants and natural wood.
Made by hand in Bhadohi, India.
