Care
Vacuum approximately once a week on a low-suction setting.
Use a gentle vacuum head and avoid vigorous brushing, scrubbing, or repeated passes over the same area.
Never beat or strike the rug to remove dust.
For deeper dust removal, gently shake the rug when practical or occasionally vacuum the reverse side.
Attend to spills immediately by blotting with a clean, dry, absorbent cloth. Avoid rubbing, as this may spread the stain or disturb the fibres.
Do not use bleach, harsh detergents, or strong household cleaning products.
Avoid saturating the rug with water and do not allow it to remain damp for extended periods.
Rotate the rug periodically to help distribute foot traffic, wear, and natural colour changes evenly.
Minimise prolonged exposure to strong, direct sunlight to help preserve the rug’s colours.
For thorough cleaning or difficult stains, we recommend using a professional rug-cleaning service experienced with handmade rugs.
The horizon is the only line that moves away as you approach it — a boundary that exists entirely because of where you are standing.
Hand knotted in viscose, a fibre with enough lustre to keep a long, quiet surface from ever going flat.
At 8 x 10 ft it is a principal-room piece, sized so furniture sits fully on the carpet.
Viscose is best kept out of heavy traffic and direct sun.
