Care
• Vacuum regularly on low suction, without a beater bar or rotating brush.
• Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth. Do not rub.
• For deeper cleaning, we recommend professional rug cleaning only.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to minimise fading.
• Keep away from excessive moisture and damp areas.
• Rotate the rug periodically to ensure even wear.
• Some shedding is natural, especially with handmade rugs, and will reduce over time.
• Do not pull loose fibres; carefully trim them with scissors if required.
Gilt sets columns of golden chain links against a ground of deep black, and the contrast does the rest.
The links interlock down the full length of the carpet in a tight, regular repeat, so the pattern reads from a distance as a rich metallic weave.
Hand tufted in bamboo silk, the surface has a natural lustre that makes the gold glow and gives the black real depth.
It is an unapologetically glamorous piece, with a strong sense of evening about it.
