Care
Vacuum approximately once a week on a low-suction setting.
Use a gentle vacuum head and avoid vigorous brushing, scrubbing, or repeated passes over the same area.
Never beat or strike the rug to remove dust.
For deeper dust removal, gently shake the rug when practical or occasionally vacuum the reverse side.
Attend to spills immediately by blotting with a clean, dry, absorbent cloth. Avoid rubbing, as this may spread the stain or disturb the fibres.
Do not use bleach, harsh detergents, or strong household cleaning products.
Avoid saturating the rug with water and do not allow it to remain damp for extended periods.
Rotate the rug periodically to help distribute foot traffic, wear, and natural colour changes evenly.
Minimise prolonged exposure to strong, direct sunlight to help preserve the rug’s colours.
For thorough cleaning or difficult stains, we recommend using a professional rug-cleaning service experienced with handmade rugs.
Faience is the tin-glazed earthenware named for the Italian town of Faenza, prized for glazes with more depth than the clay beneath them.
Hand knotted in pure silk, the one fibre that behaves the same way — surface and depth at once, changing with the angle you view it from.
At 8 x 10 ft in silk this is among the most considered pieces we make, and it wants a room that will let it be seen.
Keep the surroundings restrained and let the carpet carry the room.
