Care
Vacuum about once a week on a low-suction setting.
Avoid vacuum heads with rotating or beater brushes, and do not run the vacuum over the fringes or edges.
Do not strike or beat the rug to remove dust; shake it out gently instead when practical.
In case of spills, blot gently and promptly with a clean, dry cloth.
Avoid rubbing or scrubbing stains, which can distort the weave.
Do not wash, soak, or shampoo the rug at home.
Protect the rug from excessive moisture and avoid placing it on damp surfaces.
If a loose thread appears, trim it carefully with scissors rather than pulling it.
Reverse the rug end to end every few months to encourage more uniform wear.
For deeper cleaning or stubborn stains, use a professional rug-cleaning service experienced with handwoven rugs.
Ecru is a plain carpet with no pattern at all, just the fine horizontal grain the handloom leaves behind.
The colour is a warm camel, deeper than raw undyed cloth, with soft lighter and darker passages where the pile lies in different directions.
Handloom woven in wool, the plainest construction in the range and the easiest to place.
A 5 x 8 ft carpet for a bedroom, study or living room where the floor should feel warm and stay quiet.
Made in India by hand.
